Position Overview
The Maintenance Worker is responsible for the overall upkeep of the facility through routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and timely repairs. This includes working with plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, as well as addressing general maintenance needs throughout the building.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine inspections of facility systems and equipment
Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and safety risks
Diagnose and repair issues related to plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
Complete work orders efficiently and in a timely manner
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Assist with general facility upkeep and repairs as needed
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
1–2 years of maintenance experience preferred
Prior experience in a nursing home or healthcare setting strongly preferred
Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repair work
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on ladders when necessary
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
