About The Role

The EDI Contractor will provide operational support to the EDI team through year-end. This role focuses on testing, file validation, production monitoring, issue resolution, carrier/vendor support, and implementation activities.

This is a temporary contract role through December 2026 and is not intended for conversion to full-time employment.

What You’ll Do

• Support multiple EDI implementation and maintenance activities.
• Assist with carrier, vendor, and COBRA partner onboarding and implementation efforts.
• Support ANSI X12 834 testing, file validation, and enrollment processing activities.
• Monitor production workflows and investigate transmission or enrollment issues.
• Partner with internal teams, vendors, carriers, and TPAs to support issue resolution.
• Maintain process documentation and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support automation, file configuration, and production readiness activities.
• Provide operational capacity during onboarding and implementation projects.

Must Haves

• Experience working with EDI transactions and integrations.
• Experience supporting testing, file validation, production monitoring, and issue resolution activities.
• Ability to work with internal teams, vendors, carriers, and TPAs.
  
  

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting ANSI X12 834 enrollment files.
• Exposure to healthcare, benefits administration, COBRA, TPA, or related environments.
• Familiarity with enrollment workflows and file-based integrations.
  
  

Compensation

• $50–$60 per hour (contract role)
• This is a contractor position; candidates must have and maintain their own benefits/insurance coverage
