Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and experienced individuals to offer support to individuals with Brain Injuries. We provide services to our patients in their homes, in the community and at our therapy centers. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to empowering individuals to achieve independence and self-sufficiency in their daily lives by working on cognitive and behavioral skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to individuals with Brain Injuries in their homes, out in the community, or at our therapy centers.
- Implement personalized care to cater to the unique needs and goals of each individual.
- Accurately collect and record behavioral data
- Apply strategies to decrease maladaptive behaviors and promote positive alternatives, ensuring interventions are ethically and effectively implemented.
- Maintain accurate client records and progress notes.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that promotes social and emotional growth.
Qualifications & Competencies:
- High School Degree
- Empathy, active listening, motivational support and, problem-solving skills
- Organizational capability
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- DEPENDABLE TRANSPORTATION
- Valid Driver's License
- Valid Car insurance
Experience:
- Caregiving: 1 year or related field
- RBT Cert. (preferred)
- Previous experience with BI patents (preferred)
- Bachelors or Associates in a related field such as, Psychology, Social Work, counseling etc. (Preferred)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
