- Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with agency policies and applicable laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, OSHA, KDADS/KDHE as applicable).
- HRIS (Paylocity): Build workflows, manage onboarding checklists, position/comp changes, document storage, and reporting dashboards.
- Training & Acknowledgments: Assign mandatory trainings; track completion and escalate non-compliance.
- Support & Guidance: Serve as a first point of contact for HR questions; coach managers on forms, documentation standards, and timelines.
- Process Improvement: Standardize SOPs, close gaps, and simplify the employee experience while staying audit-ready.
What You Bring

- Proven self-starter with exceptional ownership, follow-through, and attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices; experience with licensure/credential tracking.
- Excellent communication skills, discretion with confidential information, and a service mindset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365/Google Workspace; comfort collaborating with IT/Compliance/Operations.
