You’ll work closely with our veterinarians and support staff to provide exceptional care to our clients and small animal patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and procedures
- Perform routine technical duties including venipuncture, catheter placement, radiology, anesthesia monitoring, and laboratory testing
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Educate clients on preventative care, treatment plans, and post-op instructions
- Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with hospital protocols through Vetspire veterinary software
- Support general hospital cleanliness, equipment sterilization, and inventory management
- Provide compassionate and calm handling of animals of all temperaments
- 2 years of experience as a veterinary technician preferred (new grads welcome with strong clinical skills)
- CVT, LVT, or RVT certification a plus but not required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Passion for animal health and client education
- Must be available to work some Saturdays
