Required Experience & Skills
- Required: Minimum 1 year of anesthesia experience
- Preferred: Emergency or specialty hospital background
- Credentials: CVT/LVT/RVT preferred, not required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Able to multitask in a fast‑paced surgical environment
- Professional, positive, and reliable demeanor
- Veterinary anesthesia
- Surgical nursing
- Patient recovery
- Specialty veterinary care
- Support veterinarians during surgical procedures in accordance with Florida practice acts
- Monitor anesthesia and provide peri‑operative patient care
- Assist with patient admission, preparation, and recovery
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Communicate with clients regarding patient care and medications
- Keep treatment and surgical areas clean, sterile, and organized
- Mentor and support fellow technicians when needed
