What You’ll Do
As a Veterinary Client Service Representative, you’ll support the hospital by:
- Greeting clients and pets with warmth and professionalism
- Assisting new clients with registration and sharing expected wait times
- Answering phones, emails, and non‑medical inquiries with empathy and urgency
- Scheduling appointments and diagnostics, and coordinating with referring hospitals to access records
- Creating appointment reminders and rescheduling missed visits
- Maintaining accurate client and patient information in hospital systems
- Keeping the front desk, reception, waiting areas, and exam rooms clean and organized
- Reviewing charges at checkout and reconciling the cash drawer accurately
- Supporting teammates and contributing to a positive, collaborative work environment
Experience & Skills
- Customer service experience strongly preferred
- Veterinary experience (1 year) is a plus but not required for strong customer‑service candidates
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
- Comfort with basic accounting, payments, and cash handling
- Team‑oriented mindset with a positive, professional attitude
- Open availability, including nights, weekends, and some holidays
- Ability to work rotating weekends
- Friendly, outgoing, and people‑focused
- Compassionate toward pets and their families
- Organized, dependable, and adaptable
- Interested in growing a long‑term career in veterinary medicine
