Experience & Skills Requirements
- 3 years of veterinary clinical/hospital experience required
- Veterinary Emergency or Specialty experience preferred
- Vet Assistant experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- EzyVet Experience preferred
- Greet clients and their pets with prompt professionalism and courtesy
- Present treatment plans
- Provide options to clients and obtain signatures on corresponding legal forms
- Invoice for services by accurately receiving and processing payments
- Discharge outgoing patients
- Schedule and confirm appointments and rechecks
- Maintain all aspects of workplace organization and cleanliness
- Answer incoming phone calls and coordinate client callbacks
- Request medical records from primary rDVM office and update patient charts
- Maintaining all aspects of medical documentation and record keeping
- Email records as requested to clients and rDVMs
- Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients
- Perform other duties as assigned
