Schedule: 36-40 hours weekly; Saturday and Sunday rotations

Shift Times: Monday – Friday 7a—6p

Saturday 8a—5p

Sunday 12p—2p

Your Experience & Skills

  • Passion for animal care and a strong work ethic
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Prior animal care experience is preferred but not required

Animal Medical Clinic is looking for a Kennel Attendant to join us as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community.

About The Hospital

Animal Medical Clinic is a general practice located in Peachtree City, GA focusing on wellness/sick exams, preventative care, surgeries, and dentistry. Our hospital is a fast-paced and high-volume clinic with moderately affluent and well-educated clientele. We pride ourselves on providing the highest quality of veterinary care to each patient and to serve our clients, patients, and team members with professionalism, compassion, and integrity. Teamwork and exceptional customer service are all equally important.

We are open Monday – Friday 7a – 6p and Saturday 8a – 5p, serving the Peachtree City, Fayetteville, Tyrone, and Newnan communities.

You’re Willing And Able To

  • Provide daily husbandry and care for hospitalized and boarding patients
  • Assist veterinarians and/or technicians to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow
  • Provide aid for diagnostic procedures or treatments via proper restraining techniques
  • Maintain medical charts
  • Walk, feed, and bathe patients as needed
  • Administer medications as directed
  • Monitor patients for any significant changes and notify the medical team immediately if any are observed
  • Use safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and sustain clean, sterile, organized treatment areas, exam rooms, labs, kennel areas, and equipment
  • Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients
  • Be willing to guide, mentor, and support fellow team members

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with a hourly pay rate starting at $15 - $16/ hour. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
