Must be able to work day shifts, weekends and holidays(not all) and must have reliable transportation. Pay will be based on experience.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
Duties
- Provide daily care for animals, including feeding and watering
- Maintain cleanliness of kennels, cages, and common areas to promote health and hygiene along with washing, drying and folding laundry
- Monitor animals’ behavior and health, alerting veterinary staff to any concerns or abnormalities
- Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques to prevent injury or stress
- Support pet grooming, bathing, and basic pet sitting duties to enhance animal comfort and owner satisfaction
- Engage with pet owners courteously, answering questions about animal care and services offered
Requirements
- Prior experience in animal handling, kennel work, or pet care is highly preferred
- Strong ability to handle animals safely using appropriate restraint methods
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, cleaning tasks, and standing for extended periods
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Experience with veterinary assistance or technician work is advantageous
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $9.00 - $15.00 per hour
