What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager of Peer Services – Glick Recovery Campus (Crisis Center) position at Thrive Peer Recovery Services?
Manage a team of peer supporters as it relates to personnel and performance management, supervision, timekeeping, scheduling, and supporting day to day operations
Monitor EHR and ensure documentation is accurate and submitted in a timely manner
Work directly with their team to support and assist them with proper documentation
Collaborate with internal compliance teammates to ensure all documentation follows the most up to date guidance and regulations
Monitor notes to ensure submission within 24 hours and have appropriate discussions with team members not meeting this standard
Oversee caseload review to ensure best practice
Complete supervision for their team, and support back up of supervision with other teams as needed
Collaborate with leadership to monitor productivity and work quickly to identify any issues and address immediately, utilizing dashboards and other monitoring tools
Support all programs in continuous process improvement
Collaborate internally across departments to ensure client and partner satisfaction
Complete administrative duties as required including forms, paperwork, data tracking, notes, and reports
Meet with team members onsite as needed for onboarding, training, or other business needs as they arise
Enforce policies and procedures to ensure the program is operating appropriately
Advise and manage staff appropriately, including monitoring performance and having accountability discussions
Other duties as assigned
Active OHMHAS Peer Support Supervisory Certificate
Working knowledge of different pathways to recovery and social systems including evidence-based practices
Understands problems analysis, decision-analysis, evaluate interventions, and contingency plans
Comfortable working with industry related software
Ability to be an active listener by asking questions and reflecting on what is being said
Ability to delegate tasks where appropriate
Ability to encourage and motivate others, particularly when dealing with people in recovery
Proficient level of ability with computer; Microsoft Office Products
Effective written and oral communication skills; ability to articulate information clearly
Reliable transportation
Preferred Requirements:
Prior experience in a leadership role
Experience with Medicaid compliance and/or billing requirements
Identify as a person in recovery with at least one year of successful recovery
Active Ohio Certified Peer Supporter
Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent
