Role Description
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Therapist to join our dynamic behavioral services team providing outpatient mental health and substance use treatment services. In this vital role, you will provide individualized and group therapy sessions, conduct comprehensive client assessments, and develop tailored treatment plans to support clients needs. Your expertise will help empower individuals achieve their goals, improve their well-being, and foster resilience. The ideal candidate is licensed in a behavioral health related field, has strong communication and clinical skills, and is committed to delivering high-quality, person-centered care. Our Caldwell office provides services to adults, adolescents, and families.
Duties
- Conduct thorough assessments, including initial and ongoing diagnostic assessments and screens. Conduct intake interviews to determine treatment needs.
- Develop personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based approaches.
- Provide individual, group, and family treatment, in person and via telehealth, addressing various behavioral health needs. Examples of groups included co-occurring anger management, co-occurring healthy thinking, early recovery skills, relapse prevention, DBT, etc.
- Document treatment and progress accurately and within required timeframes while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 regulations for client confidentiality.
- Manage crisis situations effectively by implementing conflict management and crisis management protocols to ensure client safety.
- Collaborate with case managers, medical professionals, recovery coaches, peer support specialists, educators, and families to ensure treatment goals are met.
Experience
- Proven experience working in home & community care settings or behavioral health environments.
- Strong background in substance use and mental health treatment with clinical skills and knowledge of the treatment issues concerning clients.
- Familiarity with behavioral health terminology, documentation standards, and electronic health record systems.
- Skilled in developing internal and external relationships, creating partnerships, and building trust.
- Committed to creating an environment of hope and possibility along with integration of trauma informed care and overdose prevention into daily practice.
Preferred Licensure: Licensed in Idaho in a behavioral health related field including LPC, LCPC, LMSW, LCSW
