Key Responsibilities
Mobile Assessments
- Travel throughout the Las Vegas area to conduct in-person psychosocial assessments for potential admissions.
- Evaluate behavioral, psychosocial, medical, and safety information to determine the appropriate level of care.
- Document findings thoroughly and accurately in compliance with regulatory, facility, and clinical standards.
- Collaborate with clinical leadership to support the admissions process.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and follow all HIPAA guidelines.
- Serve as a key contact for hospitals, case managers, crisis teams, schools, referral agencies, and community partners.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships to support referral pathways and promote Thrive's services.
- Communicate proactively with referral sources throughout the assessment and admission process.
- Participate in community outreach activities, partner visits, and meetings to strengthen Thrive Behavioral Hospital's visibility.
- Contribute to census development through excellent customer service and responsive communication.
Licensed Registered Nurse (RN)
- Active RN license in good standing OR
Accepted degrees include:
- Master of Social Work (MSW) - including MSW Interns/Associates on a licensure track
- Marriage & Family Therapy (MFT - Master’s Level) - including MFT Interns/Associates
- Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling / Clinical Counseling - including Counseling Interns/Associates
- Master’s-Level Clinical Psychology
- Prior experience in behavioral health, social services, crisis work, intake, or case management preferred.
- Strong interviewing, critical-thinking, and clinical documentation skills.
- Comfortable working with youth facing behavioral, emotional, or mental health challenges.
- Ability to work independently in field settings and travel daily.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
