What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vendor Purchasing Administrative Assistant (Temp) position at THRESHOLD ENTERPRISES LTD?
. Summary of Job Duties: Under general supervision of the purchasing manager, Threshold enterprises is looking for a detail-oriented administrative purchasing professional with strong experience supporting the purchasing team through accurate documentation, vendor coordination, and system data management. Proven ability to track sample materials, maintain compliance records, and support cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
Specific Job Duties:
1. Attend team and OOS meetings to report status, drive suppliers for updates and results, and address problematic suppliers.
2. Onboard suppliers by collecting and managing required documentation (MAPs, contracts, COAs, etc.), coordinating sample requests, and uploading records to TraceGains.
3. Track sample material receipt and delivery to ensure timely processing.
4. Proactively follow up with suppliers, R&D, and Quality teams until suppliers are fully onboarded and approved.
5. Support Buyers and Purchasing manager with administrative requests.
6. Perform all other duties as assigned by Threshold management
Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications Required:
1. Basic knowledge of computers and demonstrated competency with MS Word & MS Excel programs.
2. Exposure to a dynamic, fast-paced, manufacturing purchasing environment.
3. 2-3 years of administrative purchasing experience.
Skills and/or Training Desired:
1. Data Accuracy & Compliance Support.
2. Familiarity with basic Quality Control procedures and operations.
3. Detail oriented.
4. Highly organized.
5. High communication skills.
6. Knowledge of Trace Gains is a plus.
Salary : $24 - $27
