Maintenance Supervisor (2nd Shift)

Onsite – Manufacturing Environment

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead daily maintenance operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for overseeing a team of technicians, ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting production goals through effective maintenance planning and execution.

• Supervise daily maintenance activities to ensure timely completion of work orders and rapid response to equipment breakdowns
• Schedule, assign, and monitor preventive maintenance for production machinery and support equipment
• Lead and mentor a team of 10–20 maintenance employees, promoting skill development and teamwork
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and operational procedures

• Coordinate and execute maintenance-related projects to improve efficiency, reliability, and productivity
• Monitor maintenance performance metrics such as downtime, cost control, and completion rates
• Support spare parts inventory management to reduce equipment downtime

• Communicate expectations, priorities, and performance goals to the maintenance team
• Partner with production and other departments to align maintenance schedules and resolve issues
• Serve as a point of contact for maintenance-related concerns and escalate issues as needed

• Review and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical documentation
• Identify and resolve equipment performance issues and irregularities
• Perform other duties as needed to support facility operations

• Post-secondary education (up to 18 months) in engineering, electronics, or a related technical field preferred
• 3–6 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• At least 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience

• Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, refrigeration, and mechanical systems
• Understanding of maintenance practices in a manufacturing setting
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation
• Familiarity with workplace safety standards and regulations
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

• Ability to climb, crawl, kneel, squat, reach, and twist
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry 25 lbs
• Comfortable working in a production/manufacturing environment

• Full-time position on 2nd shift
