Hours per Day: 7.5 hours Mon - Thurs / 4 hours on working Fridays
Days per Week: 4 and 5 days
Days per Year: 176 days

Compensation: $19.15 - $24.25 - New hires will be placed at Step 1 through 9 dependent on prior contracted educational experience. Employees in qualifying positions will receive a comprehensive benefit package that includes medical, dental and vision and will receive contributions to their PERS retirement accounts. Qualifications:
ELL EDUCATION ASSISTANT FOR DISTRICT OFFICE
*Will be resource for all district schools
Ability to interpret accurately between English and Spanish in a conversational setting.
Ability to use Spanish literacy (both reading and writing) skills to support ELL (English Language Learner) students in English acquisition and access to the core curriculum.
Ability to accurately assist with translating written correspondence between school and home.
Ability to work under the direction of the ELL Coordinator with students across the district on an as-needed basis
Strong clerical skills (word processing and data entry) desired
Requirements:
Candidates are required to hold the Oregon State Seal of Biliteracy (OSSB)
High School Diploma or GED required
Person filling this position will have to be fingerprinted
