Job Announcement:
Three Rivers Park District is seeking to fill the position of Assistant Director of Finance - Controller at the Administrative Center in Plymouth, MN. This position will be responsible for overseeing all accounting, internal control, and related financial operations of the Park District. This role ensures fiscal integrity, compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as all relevant governmental accounting standards [Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) statements]. This position ensures the Park District’s financial records and general ledger are complete and accurate so that timely and accurate information is available for the Board of Commissioners, management, other government agencies and the public.
STARTING RANGE: $115,000.00 - $130,000.00/annually
SALARY RANGE: $81,247.00- $148,227.00 /annually
This position may offer a remote/hybrid work schedule.

Essential Duties and Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting AND seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in local (city/county) government accounting of which at least three (3) years is supervisory OR at least ten years of any combination of education and/or experience to the above. Preferred: Possess a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Public Finance Officer (CPFO) license.
