Hours per Day: 8.5 hours
Days per Week: 4 days
Days per Year: 155 days
Closing Date and Time: Open until filled
Compensation: $19.50 - $24.70 - New hires will be placed at Step 1 through 9 dependent on prior contracted educational experience. Employees in qualifying positions will receive a comprehensive benefit package that includes medical, dental and vision and will receive contributions to their PERS retirement accounts. Qualifications:
- Follows and maintains knowledge of applicable District policy(ies) and procedures.
- Assists staff with record keeping, copying, filing, grading assignments, data entry and taking attendance.
- Monitors and assists students as needed in the classroom, playground, parking lots, locker rooms, bus duty and at meal times.
- Assists the teacher in developing educational materials (copying, typing, laminating, etc.).
- Follows prescribed daily schedule as outlined by the building administrator.
- Participates effectively at regular team meetings with teacher and other support staff using appropriate social skills.
- Maintains safe environment for students at all times.
- Reports safety, sanitary and fire hazards immediately to supervisor.
- Interacts thoughtfully and courteously with students, staff, administrators, and parents and resolves conflict in a professional manner.
- Communicates clearly with coworkers and other staff.
- Appropriately maintain and secure confidential records and inquiries.
- Dress professionally for the position.
- Professionally represents the school and the District in interactions with parents, community, staff, and students.
- Provide impeccable customer service.
- Maintains appropriate certifications and training hours as required.
- Attends work daily as assigned and is punctual.
