Critical Access Hospital opportunity
We are currently looking for providers to work in our critical access hospital. As a provider in this department, you will:
- You will have an opportunity to collaborate with strong nursing support and other specialties.
- You provide care to patients in our emergency wing and inpatient hospital wing.
- Shift coverage is 24-hours with 1-4 shifts scheduled in a block. We offer onsite sleep room and meals during your shift coverage.
In this line of work, everyone day is different, that’s why you will need to know how to:
- Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Prescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens.
- Direct and coordinate the patient care activities of nursing and support staff as required.
Rural Health Clinic Opportunity
We are currently looking for providers to work in our Rural Health Clinic. As a provider in this department, you will:
- You will have an opportunity to collaborate with 1 additional physician and 2 nurse practitioners to provide top-notch care to our community.
- You will provide a full spectrum of family medicine care to a wide range of patients.
- We are flexible with work schedules with typical weeks consisting of 40 hours, no weekends.
In this line of work, everyone day is different, that’s why you will need to know how to:
- Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Prescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens.
- Direct and coordinate patient care activities.
In our organization, every encounter matters. That why we require:
Physician assistant- successful completion of a physician assistant training program accredited by CAAHEP with certification from NCCPA.
Nurse Practitioner- successful completion from a nationally accredited graduate or post-graduate level advanced practice nurse program with certification in the population focus area of advanced practice nursing care.
Certification in BLS, ALS, PALS and ATLS (hospital only)
Active Wyoming State Licensure or ability to obtain before start of practice.
Able to communicate effectively and diplomatically with a multi-functional team.
Able to generate trust and calm with each encounter.
