What are the responsibilities and job description for the Welcome Center Facilitator (Revised) position at Three Rivers College?
Welcome Center Facilitator will provide assistance and support to students, staff and faculty while assisting Student Services with daily operations. The facilitator will help generate and sustain a positive educational experience for students. The position will work varied hours including day and/or evening.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Manage all walk-in, phone, and email communication in a timely, efficient, professional manner.
- Maintain a level of general knowledge about all areas of the college and relevant community partnerships.
- Maintain the standard of cleanliness and organization of the Welcome Center area.
- Schedule advising appointments and campus tours.
- Assist students in the basic use of the college student information system, email, and Blackboard.
- Assist with the training and supervision of student ambassadors and work studies staffed at the Welcome Center.
- Update the Welcome Center Manual as needed.
- Work in and foster a team environment.
- General office work, including filing, telephone skills, and correspondence.
High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred. Must have a general knowledge of the college. Ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate with all constituents of the college. Must maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.
Salary range is $13.75 per hour. Excellent fringe benefit package includes, but not limited to health, dental, vision, and life insurance; sick and vacation leave; and the Missouri Public School & Education Employee Retirement System. Generous holiday schedule.
