Job Title: Test Technician
Client: Heavy Machine Manufacturing Company
Location: Fargo, ND 58102
Duration: 1 Year (Extension Possible)
Shift: 2nd Shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Mon–Fri)
Job Summary
Supports testing operations by running lab tests, troubleshooting systems, and assisting engineers in validating product performance. A bridge between production and engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and execute lab testing activities
- Perform troubleshooting on test systems and equipment
- Support production line issues with technical insight
- Assist engineers in building and debugging test setups
Core Duties
- Run and monitor functional and accelerated tests
- Perform basic corrective actions and escalate complex issues
- Build, modify, and debug test equipment and systems
- Provide line support and resolve production-related issues
- Track and report testing progress and results
- Maintain lab environment and equipment readiness
Technical Focus
- Electronics testing & validation
- Test systems troubleshooting
- Product reliability and performance testing
- Engineering support (Windchill, Creo exposure)
Required Qualifications
- A.S. in Electronics / Technical Diploma (or equivalent experience)
- 1 year experience in electronics/manufacturing/testing (3 preferred)
- Understanding of electric machine fundamentals
- Ability to troubleshoot and work independently
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with accelerated testing methods
- Exposure to Windchill and Creo
- Knowledge of motors, electromagnetics, and load testing
- Basic project tracking and reporting skills
