Job Summary
Perform shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse support activities. Handle materials, maintain accurate records, and use computer systems to track and report shipments and receipts.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties.
- Receive incoming materials and prepare products/materials for shipment.
- Pack and unpack finished products, raw materials, parts, assemblies, supplies, and equipment.
- Use computer systems for tracking, logging, verifying, and reporting.
- Follow established shipping practices, transportation routes, schedules, and requirements.
- Verify quantity, weight, identification, and condition of incoming and outgoing materials.
- Process freight bills, packing sheets, bills of lading, and other shipping/receiving documents.
- Record receipts and shipments accurately in the system.
- Post shipping weights and charges and route merchandise to the appropriate destinations.
- Support inventory control and product storage activities.
- Report equipment or process abnormalities as required.
- Follow established procedures and safety requirements.

- Basic knowledge of production, shipping, receiving, or distribution procedures preferred.
- Ability to perform routine clerical and warehouse-related tasks.
