Job Summary
Supplier Quality Engineer responsible for quality planning, supplier performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role focuses on PDP programs, supplier quality issues, and applying quality tools to improve manufacturing and product performance.
Key Responsibilities (Mobile-Friendly)
• Lead supplier quality planning for PDP and production programs
• Support supplier quality issue resolution and corrective actions
• Participate in FMEA, control plans, and design reviews
• Conduct supplier audits and risk assessments
• Drive root cause analysis and 8D problem-solving
• Ensure execution of RGA, SCR, and quality processes
• Analyze data to identify quality trends and improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, suppliers)
• Support continuous improvement (CI/VI) initiatives
• Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
