Description:
- Design precision mechanical systems and assemblies.
- Develop mechatronic and electro-mechanical products.
- Create 3D models and engineering drawings.
- Generate technical data packages.
- Prototype, integrate, and test hardware.
- Develop test plans and perform validation.
- Participate in design and product reviews.
- Implement engineering changes.
- Support field testing and demonstrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Provide technical leadership and project support.
- Ensure compliance with engineering processes.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 6 years' experience (or equivalent).
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
- Experience designing precision mechanisms.
- Proficiency with CAD tools (Creo preferred).
- Knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
- Experience with mechanical testing and integration.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with mechatronic systems.
- Electronics packaging experience.
- Additive manufacturing knowledge.
- Design for Manufacturing (DFM/DFA) experience.
- Experience with actuators and gear trains.
- Electro-optical systems experience.
- Materials testing experience.
- Manufacturing process knowledge.
