Three Bearings Fiduciary Advisors® is a fee-only financial planning and investment management firm in southern New Hampshire. As certified financial planner (CFP) practitioners working as fee-only financial advisors, our only compensation is the fee paid by our client. We provide financial planning services and investment advice on behalf of our clients' best interest. We combine comprehensive financial planning, tax planning, and investment management to help our clients feel confident in reaching their goals. We also provide investment management and bookkeeping services to municipalities in New Hampshire.
Opportunity:
We are seeking a conscientious, client-focused Client Service Associate to join our small team. In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional service while supporting our advisors with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks. Responsibilities:
· Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, ensuring timely and professional responses
· Prepare and process client account paperwork, including new account openings, transfers, withdrawals, and required documentation
· Coordinate with custodians, financial institutions, and internal teams to resolve client service issues
· Assist advisors in preparing for client meetings, including gathering reports, updating client profiles, and organizing meeting materials
· Manage client onboarding processes and ensure a smooth, positive experience for new clients
· Maintain accurate client records and databases (CRM system)
· Process money movements, distributions, and other transactional requests
· Monitor and follow up on pending client requests and documentation
· Perform general administrative duties to support the team’s efficiency
· Assist with client reporting, billing, and municipal client reporting tasks
· Support the company President with administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
· 2 years of experience in client service or administrative support, preferably in financial services, wealth management, or a related field
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Communications, or a related field (preferred)
· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics)
· Experience with portfolio management or custodial platforms (e.g., Schwab, Fidelity) is a strong plus
· Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine desire to help others
· Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
· Professional demeanor and a strong commitment to client confidentiality and fiduciary standards
