Job Summary
Our independent, doctor-owned practice is fast-paced yet relaxed and fun, where we value each team members contributions. As our receptionist, you’ll be the first point of contact for clients, making their experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible. We’re offering a four-day work week, with no weekends and no on-call shifts, and we’re flexible with scheduling—part-time applicants are also welcome to apply.
What do we need from you? A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a genuine love for helping people and animals alike. Previous experience in a veterinary or medical setting is a plus but not required. Most importantly, we want someone who thrives in a supportive, team-oriented environment and is ready to make a difference!
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and their pets upon arrival with warmth and professionalism.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about services offered.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is up-to-date.
- Process payments and handle billing inquiries with attention to detail.
- Assist veterinary staff with administrative tasks as needed, including managing inventory of supplies.
- Educate clients on proper animal care and wellness practices.
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming for clients and their pets.
Experience:
-Experience in a veterinary setting highly desireable, but not required.
-Minimum 1 year customer service experience required.
