Responsibilities
- Perform professional grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and brushing for a variety of dog breeds and other small animals
- Handle animals with care and confidence, utilizing animal handling techniques to ensure safety and comfort during grooming procedures
- Restrain pets safely using appropriate animal restraint methods to facilitate grooming tasks effectively
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming tools, stations, and equipment to uphold health standards
- Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding grooming preferences, special needs, and aftercare instructions
- Experience
- Prior experience in pet grooming or related animal care roles such as veterinary technician or assistant is highly desirable
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely (heavy lifting) when handling large animals or equipment
Pay: $50.00 - $500.00 per week
