POSITION OVERVIEW
The Accountant will maintain and control the General Ledger accounts and business transactions of the organization, applying the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) that includes analytical work and thorough review of financial records.
The role will be based in Orlando, FL and is an in-office position.
JOB SCOPE
The Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Assist with accurate and timely reporting for monthly and year end (w-2, W‑2c )
- Generate Ad Hoc Reports as required
- Compute and process manual/off cycle check requests
- Analyze and coordinate a variety of financial data, and report it in a useful and understandable manner
- Maintain files with appropriate support
- Assist with updating and maintaining documentation of department processes, procedures and controls
- Support with account receivable and accounts payable functions, as requested
- Support with month end close and journal entries
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 3 years of corporate accounting experience; experience in small to medium sized businesses preferred
- Strong understanding of the ledger, journal entries and accounting principles
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, preferred
- Experience in using accounting software, Xero experience preferred
- Intermediate knowledge using Microsoft Excel (i.e. basic formulas, pivot tables, Vlookups,etc.)
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to collect, analyze and interpret large sets of data
- Strong Written and verbal communication skills
WORKING CONDITIONS

A background check and drug/substance screening are required after a conditional offer. Employment will proceed only upon receiving clear results from both.
ThreatLocker also conducts randomized drug and substance testing approximately every 60 days, in line with the same screening standards.
