Heavy Equipment Operator

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery on construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience with multiple types of equipment and a strong understanding of construction processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy machinery including skid steers, bulldozers, dump trucks.
• Perform tasks such as digging, building, and moving materials on construction sites.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate work activities and maintain a safe work environment.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Assist in site preparation and cleanup as needed.

Skills

• Proficiency in operating heavy equipment.
• Strong understanding of construction site operations and safety practices.
• Ability to perform basic maintenance on equipment to ensure functionality.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS:

The current job site is located in Phelps, NY with accommodations to stay during work periods. The team stays in a house on Seneca Lake located near the build site. We work four 10 hour days Monday through Thursday. The job sites are typically located near Elma, NY.

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
