THORPETO is looking for a motivated, hungry Sales Development Representative (SDR) to work directly alongside our Account Executive and help drive new business in the IT hardware space, with a focus on datacenter and AI infrastructure.
This role is ideal for someone early in their sales career who is a true go-getter, eager to learn, comfortable on the phone, and excited to gain hands-on experience in outbound B2B sales. You’ll be on the front lines generating opportunities and learning how deals are built from the ground up.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
• Heavy outbound outreach, primarily daily cold calling
• Prospect and research potential customers
• Qualify inbound and outbound leads
• Set meetings and hand off qualified opportunities to the Account Executive
• Maintain accurate notes and activity tracking in the CRM
• Support pipeline growth through consistent follow-up
• Learn the IT hardware sales process end-to-end
Skills & Characteristics:
• High energy, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
• Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls
• Coachable and eager to gain sales experience
• Strong verbal communication and listening skills
• Organized with good follow-through
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, outbound-focused environment
• BONUS: Familiarity with HubSpot or other CRM tools
