Role and Responsibilities
- Coordinating production schedules, tools, and materials while maintaining accurate inventory.
- Leading project meetings, tracking progress, and adjusting work schedules as necessary.
- Enforcing safety regulations, standard operating procedures, and quality standards.
- Conducting daily safety meetings (“Toolbox Talks”) and site inspections with proper documentation.
- Interpreting job orders and managing scheduling for seamless workflow.
- Holding the crew accountable, providing leadership, and ensuring compliance with all safety codes and regulations.
- Addressing customer concerns promptly and resolving any challenges that arise.
- Assessing staffing needs and planning schedules two weeks in advance, including travel arrangements.
- Traveling up to 70% of the time, potentially for extended durations during busy seasons.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in construction management, with direct exposure to FRP applications.
- Expertise in Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) products and installation techniques.
- Ability to manage all facets of a project from inception to completion.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint interpretation, ensuring precise execution of carpentry-related tasks.
- Proficiency in selecting, handling, and utilizing materials efficiently.
- Commitment to safety compliance, fostering a secure work environment for all personnel.
- Strong documentation skills, maintaining accurate records throughout the construction process.
- Working knowledge of project management software.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record.
- Comfortable working with powered tools like drills and saws.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to engage professionally with a diverse workforce.
- Self-motivated and resourceful, capable of taking initiative with minimal supervision.
- Strong math skills and meticulous attention to numerical accuracy.
- Ability to comprehend and execute written and verbal instructions effectively.
Physical Requirements
- Clear vision at varying distances to perform precise work assignment
- Extended periods of standing and walking.
- Dexterity to operate specialized tools and equipment.
- Overhead reaching, bending, kneeling, and crouching as required.
