Job Description: Associate Director of Enrollment
Accountability:
The individual in this position will report to the Director of Enrollment.
Nature of the Position:
The individual in this position will be responsible for augmenting and elevating efficiencies with all aspects of the Thornton Academy recruitment and enrollment process, primarily focusing on international boarding. This position will assist with marketing and engagement efforts relating to enrollment in boarding, day, summer, and auxiliary programs.

●This position may have opportunities to work remotely or the opportunity to adopt a hybrid model. Any remote work would be at the discretion and /or approval of the Director of Enrollment
Performance Responsibilities:
●Collaborate with the admissions team and manage all aspects of application and enrollment process in order to enroll qualified applicants, grades 6-12 (boarding), for admission to Thornton Academy.
●Travel domestically and internationally to recruit boarding students, and cultivate connections and maintain relationships with community members and international partner agents.
●Conduct admission interviews, both in-person and via virtual platforms (Zoom, WhatsApp, WeChat, etc.) for student applicants and their families.
●Lead campus tours and in-person admissions visits for prospective students, families, and partner consultants.
●Cooperate with the Admissions team on strategic planning and producing data-backed reporting.
●Provide cross-departmental strategic planning to gain efficiencies and a mutual understanding of each department's needs.
●Performing other duties as assigned to ensure the effectiveness of the Admissions Office and support the mission of the school.
●Adherence to strict standards of confidentiality regarding all information accumulated during the admissions process.
●Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Enrollment.

●Prior admissions and/or program recruitment experience
●Familiarity with independent schools (boarding school experience a plus)
●Data management/CRM experience
●Bachelor's degree
●Valid passport (at least six months)
