Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-application inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
- Follow detailed application instructions for different types of fertilizers and pest control products to maximize effectiveness
- Drive company vehicles safely to various job sites while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols
- Assist with land preparation, including grading, tilling, or landscaping tasks as needed
- Maintain accurate records of applications performed, including quantities used and locations treated
- Perform routine maintenance on applicator equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity
Qualifications
- Prior experience in agriculture, lawn care, or landscaping highly desirable
- Knowledge of pest control methods and pest management strategies
- Familiarity with land management practices and crop production techniques
- Ability to operate hand tools, farm machinery, power tools, and driving a variety of vehicles safely
- Strong attention to detail for precise application of fertilizers and chemicals
- Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with farm machinery is a plus
- Certification Preferred, but we can pay for the test for the right canidiate
