Data Center Construction Project Manager
We are working with a leading General Contractor delivering hyperscale data center projects across the U.S. They are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead the on-site delivery of a major mission-critical project in Missouri.
This role will take full ownership of construction execution, managing subcontractors, driving the schedule, and ensuring high-quality delivery on a fast-paced, technically complex hyperscale build.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full project delivery from preconstruction through to commissioning and closeout
- Manage all subcontractors and trade partners, ensuring alignment with schedule and scope
- Own project schedule, sequencing, and short-term lookaheads
- Oversee project financials including budget tracking, cost control, and change management
- Drive field coordination, with a strong focus on MEP integration and sequencing
- Work closely with Superintendents to ensure efficient site operations and productivity
- Maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact for project delivery
- Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and company protocols
- Manage RFIs, submittals, procurement tracking, and contract administration
- Lead project reporting including progress updates, risk management, and forecasting
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 3–8 years of experience with a General Contractor in a Project Manager or APM capacity
- Proven track record delivering data center or mission-critical projects
- Strong commercial understanding including budgeting, buyout, and change orders
- Deep knowledge of construction sequencing, particularly around MEP systems
- Experience managing large, complex construction teams and subcontractors
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
Salary : $130,000 - $170,000
