A fast-growing data center General Contractor is seeking an experienced Project Executive to lead the successful delivery of high-performance, mission-critical facilities across the United States.
This senior leadership role will oversee the full lifecycle delivery of hyperscale and colocation data center projects, including preconstruction, construction execution, and commissioning. The Project Executive will play a key role in driving project strategy, managing delivery teams, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
You will work closely with internal development, design, and operations teams while managing general contractors, consultants, and key project stakeholders across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full lifecycle construction delivery of hyperscale and colocation data centers
- Oversee preconstruction planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and execution
- Provide leadership and oversight to project management and construction delivery teams
- Collaborate with development, engineering, design, and operations teams to align project goals
- Manage and coordinate general contractors, consultants, and key vendor partners
- Implement consistent construction processes, reporting standards, and best practices
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, cost control, and schedule commitments
- Support commissioning, integrated systems testing, and successful project turnover
Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in construction management or project delivery
- 5 years of experience in data center, mission-critical, or advanced infrastructure projects
- Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale construction programs
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- In-depth understanding of construction delivery models, budgeting, and scheduling
- Experience supporting commissioning and facility handover
- Familiarity with tools such as Procore, MS Project, or Primavera
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline (Master’s or MBA a plus)
