Thor Motor Coach is hiring a Quality Inspector to join our team in Elkhart.
Job Responsibilities:
- Timely auditing and documenting of defects in product based on the line roll schedule
- Ensure all defects are repaired and that repairs are verified before each line roll
- Communicate to production employees common defects and work jointly on solutions
- Answer employee questions and help train
- Communicate to other inspectors regarding defects being found in their particular area of inspection
- Follow process
- Audit
- Cosmetic, roof and underbody inspections
Job Requirements:
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and quality
- Ability to communicate and coach employees in various areas
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
- Job requires constant movement including in and out of units multiple times per line roll
- Must have a flexible schedule
- Must be able to read prints
- Microsoft Office
- RV quality / inspection experience 1 years experience
- RVIA experience a plus
