Continuous Improvement Coordinator

Thor Motor Coach is accepting applications for an entry-level Continuous Improvement / Quality Process Auditor. This position is to support production regarding our quality process and ensure we are manufacturing a quality motorhome for our customers. This position will work with multiple different teams and will require at times travel to and from other plants within Elkhart, Wakarusa, and Bristol. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Uphold and drive the SWI/LPA initiative weekly, understand defects and how we are correcting either with training or documentation as such a SWI. Work with plant managers, supervisors, floor personal daily driving quality improvement.
• Uphold Accountability board and KPI boards on the floor and support plant management: This is a daily activity.
• Work with different departments inside Thor Motor Coach as well with outside vendors driving quality improvements, projects, etc
• Daily Gemba walks & Daily OPEX Meeting attendance
• Facilitate training
• Lead by example – You will promote TMC processes and OPEX in a positive way on a daily basis.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year RV manufacturing experience (preferred, but not required)
• Lean certification (preferred, but not required)
• Microsoft Office- EXCEL, PPT, WORD
• KPI knowledge
• Quality systems
• Root cause analysis
• Power BI training
• Quality data entry training and understanding of DAX
• Lifting to 50lbs and teamwork for constructing racking in departments
