We are currently seeking a Service Specialist to support our unprecedented growth by providing support to our Florida area. The ideal candidate is a big picture thinker, self-sufficient and someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The Service Specialist will manage the customer service side of service scheduling.In this role you will handle outbound customer support calls, as well as data entry for 12 service technicians, with a high level of focus, customer service and quality, to ensure a world class customer service experience for every ThompsonGas customer. This role provides opportunity for growth into future leadership roles for top performers.
Essential Job Duties:
- Communicate with the customers before and after service to ensure we provided the best possible experience
- Address customer issues and respond to all inquiries including, but not limited to, pricing, billing, products, grievances, and new account set-up
- Provide timely and accurate information to customer during the service day
- Handle each call with a high level of professionalism, warmth, and eagerness
- Coordinate daily with up to 12 service technicians to ensure customer request and data entry are taken care of
- Ensure Technician work orders and routes are prepared and dispatched daily
- Communicate with Customer Service for scheduling and emergency needs
- Communicate with Service Coordinator for follow-up scheduling for additional customer service needs
- Review billing for adjustments and customer invoicing
- Maintain customer accounts with service-related information
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Prior Experience in a service dispatching and/or logistics role preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced level skills in Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Cargas Energy Systems or industry related software experience a plus, but not required
- 2 years of customer service experience working with both internal and external customers
- The ability to communicate effectively with customers and at all levels of the ThompsonGas organization
- Ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
- The desire to be part of a growing successful team.
- Propane Industry experience a plus

Salary : $60,000 - $63,000
