Position Summary
The BCP Growth Manager will lead the strategic development of Caterpillar Compact Equipment expansion. This role is responsible for developing and executing targeted growth strategies, aligning internal teams, and enhancing customer retail experience.
Essential Responsibilities & Expectations
- Develop a growth strategy for compact retail in the Thompson Tractor footprint.
- Build and scale a compact retail experience which is in alignment with Thompson Tractor’s retail objectives and customer expectations.
- Train, develop, and schedule a team for sales excellence to attain overall goals and highest-level customer experience.
- Work closely with Rental, Product Support, Parts, Marketing, Sales, and Facilities to align compact retail initiatives with operational capabilities and meet branding standards.
- Implement an innovative system to distribute and manage leads, closure rates, and lost sale reporting.
- Manage CSR’s
- Manage inventory for Cat compact which includes Prime Product and work tools and influence inventory at all stores

Education
- Undergraduate Degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or related field is preferred.
- Minimum of five years of Thompson Tractor or Caterpillar in sales, marketing, inventory management, and merchandising.
- Proficiency in using personal computers, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, as well as basic typing skills required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and trustworthiness.
- Sense of urgency and ability to work independently
