What You'll Do
- Process weekly payroll and related payroll transactions
- Maintain payroll records, PTO balances, and reimbursements
- Prepare union and certified payroll reports
- Review payroll data, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accuracy
- Assist employees, supervisors, and managers with payroll and timekeeping questions
- Support payroll audits and compliance requirements
- Provide administrative support to the payroll, accounting, and finance teams
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma required
- 1-2 years of payroll, accounting, HR, or related experience
- Knowledge of payroll processes, taxes, deductions, and compliance requirements
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to other office locations as needed
- Ability to sit for extended periods and perform routine computer-based work
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Business, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field
