Job Summary
The MAC Sales Specialist is responsible for developing proposals for large scale project work on customer sites, which involves moves, adds, and changes to existing fire protection systems. MACs will work within an assigned territory and branch service area. MACs will work closely with the Operations team to ensure timely and accurate quoting of all such projects. Must have experience in Fire Alarm codes and Sprinkler Installation and repair. Certifications preferred.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervisory Responsibilities

- Assists the Company in developing project quotes for existing customers.
- Engage with customers to assist in future growth opportunities, budget cycles, and life safety needs.
- Utilizes CRM technology to document activity and track results.
- Maintains contact with prospects, follows up on proposals through sales calls and phone block.
- Assists in Company marketing programs/initiatives.
- Observes and benchmarks other MACs to establish and replicate best practices.
- Consistently delivers deficiency proposals in a timely fashion and within the established timeframes.
- Performs other related duties, non-deficiency sales, goodwill reach outs, etc. as assigned.
- Four-year college degree preferred in a related field and/or success in other sales/service positions.
- Familiar with codes, product attributes, and procedures within the fire protection and life safety fields.
- General awareness of business, financials, sales, and safety principles.
- Strong ability to utilize technology to increase the proposal follow-up experience.
- Strong ability to prospect, close, and build rapport with prospects.
- Demonstrated administrative acumen.
- Demonstrated experience servicing and/or maintaining Fire Alarm or Sprinkler Systems.
- Professional certification may be required in some areas- NICET Certification strongly preferred.
- Professional certification may be required in some areas.
- Maintains a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and ability pass a drug and background check.
- Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, and talking on the phone, attending virtual and in-person meetings, and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
- Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and travel when needed.
Salary : $60,000 - $120,000
