We are looking for a dependable Shipping Specialist to handle daily shipping operations. This role involves preparing, packing, and shipping a variety of products, including engines and other heavy components. The ideal candidate has experience operating forklifts, handling freight, and working with attention to detail in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a forklift to move, load, and unload materials
- Prepare and pack shipments, including securing engines and heavy items for transport
- Create shipping labels, bills of lading, and other required documentation
- Inspect outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality
- Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and follow all safety procedures
Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and handle heavy equipment
- Experience packing freight or heavy mechanical items
- Basic computer skills for shipping software and documentation
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable with physical work, including lifting and moving heavy items
Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
