EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Full-time
Salary $50,000-$75,000 per year based on experience.

Position Summary:
This position is responsible for processing residential mortgage applications from internal and external referral sources.
Essential Functions:
- Review loan files for minimum information/ documentation requirements and completeness/accuracy standards; including, requesting verification of employment, income, asset and liability information. Order appraisals, credit reports, title commitments, flood certifications and surveys.
- Review and analyze information/documentation for compliance with company, secondary market, regulatory and quality control guidelines. Assessing and validating all of the credit, income, asset and supplemental information used to qualify the prospective borrower for the loan requested.
- Work with borrower to answer questions, clarify circumstances which will contribute to an accurate assessment and review the collateral being used as security for the loan. Investigate and resolve problems.
- Interact with internal and external business development staff, applicants, referral sources, sellers, attorneys and vendors to coordinate mortgage processing/closing activities.
- Upon approval, the Processor is responsible for effectively communicating all approved loan terms and conditions of approval to an existing/potential borrower(s). Furthermore, this individual must ensure all regulatory loan documents are provided to a borrower in a timely manner.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
- Knowledge of the mortgage industry is required.
- Excellent computer skills including all MS Office applications required.
- Must be efficient with strong attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills required.
- Must be able to work under pressure with strict deadlines.
- Must have strong customer support orientation (for internal/external customers), demonstrated professional demeanor, and the ability to maintain confidential information.
Training and Experience:
- 3-5 years industry experience required.
- University or Undergraduate degree preferred.
- H.S. Diploma or equivalent required.
