The Retail Manager / Concessions is responsible for overseeing all aspects of retail food outlets and athletic concessions on campus. This role ensures seamless and high-quality experience for students, staff, and visitors by managing day-to-day operations, leading a dynamic team, and executing successful game-day concessions.

- Oversee operations of multiple retail concepts and campus concession venues.
- Recruit, train, and supervise a team of hourly associates and supervisors.
- Drive excellence in customer service and food quality.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to boost sales.
- Collaborate with campus partners to enhance student experience.
- Manage financial performance including budgets, forecasting, and reporting.
- 3 years of experience in retail foodservice or concessions management (college or stadium experience is a plus).
- Proven leadership and team development skills.
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation protocols.
- Exceptional organizational and communication abilities.
- Passion for innovation, diversity, and community engagement.
Physical & Working Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods of time, often up to 8 hours per shift.
- Comfortable working in hot, noisy, and fast-paced environments.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
