Working hours: 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday. Hours may extend depending on travel.

Job Overview: The Director of Account Management leads the Account Management and Account Specialist teams, ensuring they work together to drive growth, retain customers, and provide a great experience. This role involves identifying new opportunities, collaborating internally to find solutions, and motivating the team to meet growth targets through ongoing training and accountability.

What you'll be doing:
- Ensure both the Account Management team and the Account Specialist team work cohesively to provide a great customer experience
- Oversee the Account Management team efforts in developing relationships across customer supply chains
- Manage the transition of accounts from the Outside Sales team to Account Management team
- Ensure Account Management team is conducting regular business reviews with customers and assist in facilitating these as necessary based on customer size and need
- Develop and execute a strategy to position Keller as industry and market leader by providing regular market updates to the customer base either yourself or through the Account Management team
- Ensure a calendar is maintained where all major RFP/RFQ activity is tracked with relevant milestones noted and proactively prepare for future RFP/RFQ events utilizing that data
- Work with pricing team to promote prompt and accurate responses to major RFP/RFQ requests
- Conduct frequent customer visits with the Account Management team and other team members
- Monitor and conduct monthly reviews of the opportunity pipeline for each Account Manager
- Work with Account Management team to develop account strategies focused on relationship and financial growth targets
- Monitor both internal and external customer scorecards and ensure teams are responding to customer concerns and putting long term solutions in place on areas of concern
What we're looking for:
- Strong organizational and planning skills to meet client needs
- College degree preferred, or 5 years of transportation experience
- Goal-driven with a focus on regular planning
- Experience leading and managing teams
- Proven ability to build relationships with clients
- In-depth industry knowledge
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
