Job Description:

Thomas Instrument is seeking a dependable Part-Time Cleaning Technician to support the overall cleanliness and sanitation of the facility, with a strong focus on restroom cleaning and upkeep. This position helps maintain a safe, organized, and professional environment for employees and visitors.

Schedule

Part-time position

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday

6:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Clean, sanitize, and maintain approximately 20 restrooms throughout the facility.

Restock restroom supplies including soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and sanitation products.

Clean and maintain 6 employee kitchens/break areas.

Clean and organize 4 conference rooms.

Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain hallways and common walking areas throughout the facility.

Empty trash containers and dispose of waste properly.

Clean sinks, mirrors, counters, tables, fixtures, and frequently touched surfaces.

Monitor facility cleanliness and address sanitation concerns as needed during scheduled shifts.

Report maintenance issues, plumbing concerns, or safety hazards to management.

Skills

Reliable and self-motivated.

Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.

Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Professional and respectful attitude in a manufacturing environment

Knowledge

Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safe sanitation practices.

General knowledge of workplace safety procedures.

Experience

Previous janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience preferred, but not required.

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and remain active throughout the shift.

Work Eligibility (ITAR): This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident or persons with protected status.
