Part-Time Accounting & Commissions Analyst

Thomas Financial is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to support revenue reconciliation, commission tracking, and accurate producer payout data.

This part-time opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, identifying discrepancies, organizing financial information, and contributing meaningful work in a professional, collaborative environment.

The role may be especially well suited for an experienced accounting, bookkeeping, reconciliation, or finance professional who is looking for a flexible part-time schedule or returning to the workforce after a career pause.

In this role, you will help:

• Reconcile revenue and commission activity
• Review carrier payments and identify discrepancies
• Validate producer payout data
• Track policy-level payment issues
• Maintain accurate and organized records
• Support reporting accuracy and process consistency
  

The ideal candidate will have:

• Prior experience in accounting, bookkeeping, reconciliation, revenue operations, commissions, or financial analysis
• Strong attention to detail
• Confidence working independently while collaborating with a team
• Advanced Excel skills
• QuickBooks Online experience preferred
• Insurance, brokerage, or commission-based experience helpful, but not required
• Experience with large datasets, SQL, or SmartOffice is a plus
  

This is a part-time role of approximately 20 hours per week. We are open to a consistent daytime schedule that works well for both the candidate and the firm.
