Job Summary

Duties

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, pruning, planting, fertilizing, and watering to ensure healthy growth and visual appeal
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators safely and efficiently for various landscaping projects
• Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure proper watering and water conservation across landscapes
• Identify plants, trees, shrubs, and pests to maintain healthy ecosystems and implement pest management strategies responsibly
• Execute hardscape installations such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other construction features with precision
• Conduct seasonal snow plowing and snow removal to keep outdoor areas accessible during winter months
• Provide tree care including trimming, pruning, planting, and removal while adhering to safety standards

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment, tools, and machinery including excavators and lawn mowers
• Extensive experience in landscape maintenance practices such as gardening, lawn care, pruning, and fertilization
• Ability to identify various plants, trees, pests, and diseases with confidence
• Knowledge of pesticide management for safe application in accordance with regulations
• Familiarity with irrigation systems installation, troubleshooting, and repair techniques
• Construction experience related to landscape projects including hardscape features and site preparation
• Excellent understanding of horticulture principles combined with the ability to operate power tools safely
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
