LUIS: Afro-Puerto Rican/Black. Late seventies. The elder of the block. Content with the simple things of life. Baritone
LUZ: Afro-Puerto Rican/Black. Mid Seventies. The Owner of Luz's Botanica, The last Puerto Rican store on the block. A survivor with Díos as her compass. Mezzo-Soprano.
LOS VIEJITOS: The Fates of the block. 50's. A mischievous trio that's constantly cutting each other off to get the final say.
- VIEJITO: Afro-Puerto Rican/Black. The eldest and ringleader of the bunch. Tenor
- GORDITO: Puerto-Rican. The sweet one. Baritone
- POBRECITO/ THE AGENT: White Puerto-Rican. The Trickster & The Realtor on the block, a smooth fast-talker. Baritone
THE MAN: White. Mid- seventies. The new building owner on the block, with historical roots to Williamsburg when it was still a white neighborhood. Baritone.
