Production Assistant

Third Wave Water is hiring a Production Assistant to operate and maintain their stick packing machines, mineral mixing, material management, direct production workers, and help oversee inventory, packing, shipping, and ordering. They are a growing company looking for a hands-on, mechanically skilled person to help run daily production and operations in Xenia, Ohio.

This is a hands-on role. You will be working with production equipment, minerals, packaging machinery, inventory, shipping, and a production team. You must be able to solve problems, communicate clearly, and help keep production running smoothly. The right person is mechanically inclined, organized, dependable, and comfortable doing physical work. You should be able to lead by example, troubleshoot equipment issues, and jump in wherever needed.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site environment
• Experience in product assembly or manufacturing processes is a plus
• Operate heavy machinery during production runs.
• Assemble, tear down, clean, and maintain equipment as necessary.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and help solve production problems.
• Handle minerals and raw materials safely and accurately.
• Assist with mixing, weighing, and preparing materials for production.
• Receive and properly catalog inventory, Direct and support production workers during daily operations.
• Track inventory of raw materials, packaging, finished goods, and supplies.
• Help with packing, shipping, fulfillment, and order preparation.
• Assist with ordering materials and supplies as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area.
• Follow company procedures, quality standards, and safety practices.
• Provide monthly status reports to management.

• Experience with packaging machines, food production, manufacturing, or warehouse operations.
• Experience leading a small team.
• Basic equipment maintenance or repair experience.
• Experience with inventory, shipping, fulfillment, or ecommerce operations.
• Interest in coffee and specialty beverages.
  

• Must be able to lift and move up to 55 lbs.
• Must be comfortable standing, bending, reaching, cleaning equipment, and working in a production environment.
• Must be able to safely handle minerals, packaging materials, and production supplies.
  

Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

$19-23/hr based on experience
